Privacy Policy

What we collect

Account information (email, name, business name) you provide at sign-up. Financial data you enter or import (transactions, accounts, invoices, etc.). Standard server logs (IP address, browser, request paths) for security and debugging.

How we use it

To provide the service: store and display your financial data, generate forecasts and statements, send transactional emails (sign-up confirmation, password reset, billing). We do not use your financial data to train AI models or share it with advertisers. We do not sell your data.

Where it lives

Your data is stored in an encrypted Postgres database hosted by Supabase (US-East region). Each user's data is isolated by row-level security policies; one user cannot access another user's data.

Third-party services we use

• Supabase — auth + database
• Vercel — hosting
• Stripe — payment processing (we never store your card)
• Resend — transactional email
• Sentry — error monitoring (no financial data is sent)

Your rights

You can export or delete your data at any time from account settings. Email hello@escapethefloat.com with any privacy questions.
